Adobe Photoshop and
Adobe Illustrator

The Graphic Design Club will be in session during the month of April. Students will view online course videos and meet live with the instructor, Lori B. Live sessions are scheduled for 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific on April 6, 13, 20, and 27th.

Students will receive club and course information including logins to get started. Each project will include video tutorials and PDF file with related information.

Now is the perfect time to learn GRAPHIC DESIGN using Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator! Your 6th -12th grader can learn Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator online with lead instructor Lori Battaglia.

No Photoshop or Illustrator?

No problem!

Students can receive a FREE Adobe CC login to complete coursework.

Your Instructor

Lori Battaglia, MAEd, is an Art Educator with over 17 years experience! She is a certified AP 2D Design instructor, and is experienced in teaching Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. She enjoys creating meaningful experiences for her students by encouraging them to incorporate ideas into their art and use their knowledge to create meaningful connections with real-world experiences.

Graphic Design Effects!

Photoshop Projects:

Create emphasis in an area or object within a photograph that draws attention and becomes a focal point. Use color to make the viewer focus on one specific area of your artwork.
Learn how to place an image in text with Photoshop using clipping masks.

Illustrator Projects:

Design a Fantasy City. Use tools in AI and some of your own drawings to create a fantasy city of your own design!

CLUB REQUIREMENTS:

6th – 12th grade students, minimum age is 12
Gmail account to login to Google classroom
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator downloaded on a computer (we can provide a login to students if necessary)
Able to participate in club meetings on Wednesdays OR email any questions to the instructor
